Meeting agenda for June 28, 2005 at 6:00 PM in Council Conference Room
1. Review minutes from last meeting.
a. Review Action Items from Last Meeting.
b. Trail funding status
c. Distribute and review Park Guidelines for signboards
d. Review long term prioritized action item list
e. Plastic signboard covers installed on parking lot signboard
f. Install entrance signs
2. Old business
a. Verify use of Evendale maintenance department to install the trail as least expensive option.
b. Review proposed trail location on lower wildflower field and up to pond. Trail location has been marked on lower wildflower field with closely mowed path around the perimeter. Path up to the pond will go up the middle of the existing packed “road”. Discuss blockade method to discourage motorized vehicles going up the trail
to the pond. (Optional for committee to go up after meeting and walk for verification of path location or accept as presented at the meeting).
3. New Business
a. Define a start date for the limestone trail
b. Place a permanent waste receptacle at the parking lot?
c. Blaze a rough trail from east end of pond up to Horncastle entrance?
d. Discuss pond maintenance
e. Establish Action Items
f. Set Next Meeting
